HAVE I EVER HAPPENED?
A Film By Ramin Goudarzi Nejad

An Iranian lesbian poetess and cello player whose application for asylum in the UK has been refused shares her feelings through writing a poem which is a manifesto about life and living within a world of tyranny which knows no boundaries. Storyline starts from her bed and her phantasms about cello playing, her partner, and all the sites she used to astray to spend time to complete her poem while she is waiting for her application assessment by Home Office. She expresses herself through playing cello and simultaneously through her poem; tries to create a cosmopolitan manifesto about existence and identity which has been challenged by a theocratic regime which led to her flee. But despite living in the UK, this threat haunts her and becomes eminent as she receives her deportation order.
